2. Cut dough into 1/4 inch thick slices and place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12- 15 minutes or until cookies
begin to turn golden in color. Cool cookies on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
3. While cookies bake and cool, prepare the filling by combining the filling packet with the cream cheese in a medium bowl and beating until smooth and creamy.
4. Place 2 teaspoons of filling on 24 of the cookies and top with the remaining 24 cookies. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container until ready to serve.
Yields 24 cookies
