Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Beat in water and molasses. Add gingerbread mix and blend on slow speed until well blended. Scraping the side of the bowl several times.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes before removing.
1 packet Homemade Gourmet® Gingerbread Loaf Mix
1 egg
1 stick butter, softened
½ cup water
½ cup molasses
Bake 35 - 40 minutes.
